CRM joins the 17th Annual Global Mixx Music and Film Forum for a creators’ rights conversation in Chicago this November; panelists to be announced
CHICAGO, Ill. – Oct. 4, 2026 – The Creators’ Rights Movement (CRM), a national grassroots advocacy organization defending the full spectrum of creators’ rights, including perpetual ownership and generational wealth for all creators, will host a panel discussion at the 17th Annual Global Mixx Music and Film Forum, taking place November 13 and 14, 2026, in Chicago.

Presented by Global Mixx Creative Arts, NFP, the forum is recognized as one of Chicago’s premier creative-industry safe spaces. This year’s theme, “Culture Over Everything,” celebrates the communities that shape the urban creative landscape, spanning music production, filmmaking, acting, digital media, DJ culture, radio, artist advocacy and the business of entertainment.
CRM’s panel will bring the movement’s message directly to the artists, filmmakers and media professionals who gather at the forum each year: creation is property, and creators deserve to own their work, protect it and pass it on. The conversation will explore what ownership means for today’s creators and the steps they can take to protect their legacy.
Panelists will be announced before the event. Follow CRM on this site and on social media for the full lineup.
