AI Should Not Steal Who You Are
AI tools can now copy a singer’s voice, an actor’s face, or anyone’s likeness in minutes, without permission or pay.
Those fakes are used to sell products, spread false information, and take income from the people who spent their lives building their craft.
The NO FAKES Act would establish a federal framework to protect every individual’s name, voice, image, and likeness from being used without their permission. It would hold people and platforms accountable for unauthorized digital copies, while still protecting free speech, including parody, commentary, and news reporting.
The Creators’ Rights Movement is proud to stand with the Recording Academy in urging Congress to pass this bill.
